MICRO-NANO NEEDLING/ SCARS-STRETCH MARK

Skin needling, also called microneedling therapy or collagen induction therapy (CIT) and can be used in combination with vitamin infusion/ Mesotherapy and is used to produce new collagen and elastin in the skin. There is improvement in skin texture and firmness, as well as reduction in scars, hyperpigmetation and stretch marks. Topical anesthetic cream is used during the procedure. The number of needling sessions depends on the individual skin condition. 3 or 4 treatments may be recommended for whereas deeper scars and stretch marks may require upward of five treatments. An interval of 4 to 6 weeks between treatments is typically recommended. Series also available for purchase.
Micro-Needling Treatments to Improve Your Stretch Marks
Most people who are being honest would say that they do not want stretch marks. If you have stretch marks, you may become quite self-conscious when you slip into that bathing suit before heading to the beach. Wearing shorts or a dress may also cause embarrassment.
If you have been looking for a safe and effective way to minimize the appearance of your stretch marks, we encourage you to learn more information about micro-needling. Also called collagen induction therapy, this procedure stimulates the growth of healthy skin tissue while at the same time accelerating the process of getting rid of damaged skin cells.
The Science Behind Micro-Needling
Micro-needling encourages the growth of healthy skin through the creation of tiny channels in the skin. The body responds to the creation of these channels by filling them with blood, nutrients and scar tissue. The platelets in the blood contain important growth factors, and the nutrients in the blood serve as the first building blocks for the creation of newer, healthier skin tissue. The body will also respond by increasing the amount of collagen in the affected area. The adjacent tissue, unaffected by the process, will actually serve as a template for creating new tissue in the area of the channels. In most cases, a series of treatment sessions is necessary to achieve the desired result.
After Treatment
One of the great things about micro-needling is that there is virtually no downtime involved. Patients need not take days off of work to recover from the procedure. The micro-needles go just deep enough to penetrate through all the skin layers and touch the upper layers of the supportive tissues without causing serious damage to the surrounding skin.
In the weeks and months following the treatment, increased collagen production will have a profound effect on the texture and tone of the skin. Stretch marks will be much less visible, and the results can last for several years, depending on the situation. In addition to stretch marks, micro-needling can also be used to treat lines and wrinkles, loose skin and certain types of scars.
How does it work?
Micro needling is based on the use of tiny needles to create micro channels (tiny holes) in the skin. The process stimulates your skin’s natural ability to heal itself and in the process produces collagen and elastin.
This repair process begins almost immediately and results in a thicker dermis and softened wrinkles or scars.
The small channels in the epidermis close very quickly and the skin begins a healing response right away. Depending on the depth of the skin defect, you may see only redness or you may experience some pinpoint bleeding which stops almost immediately.
An outstanding product absorption booster
These superficial micro-channels also allow topical gels, creams and serums to be absorbed more effectively into the skin. Specific treatment products can be selected to achieve accelerated results. We’ll employ various topicals depending upon your needs
       •       Hyaluronic serums
       •       Lightening or bleaching serums
       •       Stem cells to multiply new young cells
       •       Vitamin C for strengthening and antioxidant boost
How Much Improvement To My Stretch Marks Can I Expect?
While no treatment can completely eliminate or remove stretch marks, Microneedle can significantly improve the appearance of red, white, and purple stretch marks. In some cases, the stretch marks may even become difficult to see. We find that the skin rejuvenating effects of The Eraser work well on many types of scarring including stretch marks.
How Many Treatments Of Microneedle Will I Need?
Your treatment plan will be determined by the appearance of your stretch marks. We typically recommend 4 to 6 treatments to achieve full results.
When Will I See Results From The Treatment?
You will begin to see results within a week following treatment with clear results appearing by four weeks. Because Microneedle causes your body to naturally produce collagen to heal itself over time, you may continue to see improvement for up to a year.
Are Results Permanent?
Yes, as long as you maintain your skin’s moisture and wear sunblock on exposed, treated areas, your results should last a lifetime. However, you will still have the ability to make new stretch marks.
I’ve Had My Stretch Marks For More Than 20 Years – Can You Still Treat Them?
Yes, proprietary combination of micro-needling and PRP or Vitamins allows the skin to produce collagen and healing effects from below. New tissue will be created so that even old blemishes and scars like stretch marks are improved.
Is It Appropriate For My Dark Skin?
MIcroneedle treatments are safe and effective for all skin tones and types! In fact, there is less likelihood of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
Does the treatment Hurt?
The depth of the needling during the treatment is adjusted based on the severity of your stretch marks. For treatments with shorter needles, only a slight sensation will be felt – similar to a tickle. When longer needles are required, a numbing cream is applied to minimize discomfort.
Is There Any Downtime Following The Eraser Treatments?
There is little to no real downtime with The Eraser treatment. You may experience sunburn-like redness and/or mild swelling on treated areas for a few days. We will provide you with a special serum to apply for the first few days, but you can resume using regular skincare products by the third day following treatment. You should treat your skin gently for the next week or two by avoiding sunlight and using mild products.
